Happy Snaps – Is This The Final Summer of The Onesie ?

Oh how I love a Onesie.

Why do they only go up to size 2?

Maksi is very tall but quite petite so maybe we will have another year maybe.

I can’t believe he is no longer a baby. I mean I literally can’t believe it.

I was out a few weeks ago looking for new boardies for Maksi and couldn’t find the size I needed 24-36 months So I asked a very kind looking lady in the store and she promptly told me that size is not in the baby section.

Not in the baby section!

I can’t believe it.

I bought the 18-24 month size :)

  1. Oh Julia, I remember lamenting the end of the onesies days too! I still hang on to them though (they’re in a box somewhere in the garage) even though I know I won’t have any more babies. They’re just so sweet. That’s a great look, the onesies with matching socks ;) and I love your veggie patch. Can’t wait to see your harvest!

  2. I totally agree – onesies are awesome and it’s sad when our little ones outgrow them…

  3. My 2 yr old still fits into some of his size 1 onesies! I love them, no cold tummies from riding tops.

    • They are the best Maksi is 2 and yep he still fits into his size 1 ones actually I event but a 0 on him the other day so unless he bulks up I think we may have a little longer :)

  4. I love the onesie too and dread the day when Mia grows out of them. They just look so cute, my husband reckons they look like a tablet!

  5. Oh how I love a onesie too! It’s a mark of babyhood which passes far too quickly…

  6. It’s amazing how fast it goes isn’t it? I am still in shock looking at my almost 3-y.o. who definitely doesn’t fit in a onesie! Gorgeous photos. x

  7. It must be the week for sentimentality. I am sad about my youngest starting school yet it seems like only yesterday he was growing out of his onesies. They grow too quickly for my liking. xx

    • Thanks for stopping by Sonia, ooh starting school that will be a big change for you both but as I am sure you know he will love it.

It is so unfair that they have to grow up.

  8. Yes! The convenience and cuteness of the onesie, oh how I miss you. Actually I lie. Lachie still fits into a bonds one which seems particularly long. They definitely help keep you in denial about no longer having a baby, I agree!
